| James Edward Stevenson was born on March 25, 1981 to James Sr. and Bonnie Sue Stevenson; he grew up on a small horse farm in Tolland, Connecticut and spent three years working at a local garage in his hometown. He then moved to New York City where he performed in many local stage productions as well as guest-starred in an episode of ABC’s Hope & Faith. In 2005, Stevenson starred as Hank, the sexy lead singer of the nouvelle-punk band 'Modern Man', who had come to a crossroads in his personal and professional world, in the short-lived UPN drama, Sex, Love, and Secrets. The role of Hank was his first series role on television. Most recently, James was cast in the contract role of Jared Casey on NBC’s daytime drama, Passions. His first air date was July 21, 2006.
