Click HERE to view photos from the event. -- Although Passions has been canceled by the NBC Network, it will continue to air on DirecTV beginning September 17, 2007. However, James will not be returning to play his role as Jared Casey. -- James (in an uncredited role) can be seen in the movie Redline, starring Nadia Bjorlin and Eddie Griffin. The program allows underprivileged, at-risk youth the opportunity to pick out dresses and accessories for their upcoming proms, and relies on donations from the community. Armed with dresses once worn on Passions, James met volunteers and participants throughout the afternoon, and also took a tour of the APCH facility. -- Passions' Stars at Spike for HOPE Passions' very own Adrian Bellani (Miguel Lopez-Fitzgerald) will be hosting the upcoming Spike for HOPE celebrity volleyball tournament. Many of the show's stars will be on hand and participating in the action. Expected to attend and show off their athletic skills will be: Christopher Maleki (Spike), James Stevenson (Jared), Silvana Arias (Paloma), Charles Divins (Chad), Galen Gering (Luis), James Hyde (Sam), Emily Harper (Fancy), Phillip Jeanmarie (Vincent) and Mark Wystrach (Fox). In addition, you can expect to see the organization's spokeswoman Eva Longoria as well as Matt Cedeno (ex-Brandon, Days of our Lives). Games will last thirty minutes with teams comprised of one pro-volleyball player a set of celebs and a place to be auctioned off. The event is being held to benefit the Padres Contra el Cancer, an organization which works to help Latino children with cancer and their families. Although the organization is oriented primarily towards the Latino community, it does not turn away any children who come to their facilities for help. This event will be held on Sunday, May 20, 2007 on the beach at Hermosa Beach, CA. There will be AVP pro tournament games throughout the day, but you can catch the celebrity volleyball game between 12:00 PM and 12:30 PM. This will be followed by a meet and greet with the participants. Admission is free. -- James has been nominated in the Daytime Emmy's Younger Actor category! | -- James has been vacationing and working on his music this summer, so there hasn't been a lot of news to report. But, with Pilot season quickly approaching, James is looking to get auditions possibily with other soap operas, such as As The World Turns and Guiding Light. He would also like to try getting into Primetime shows.
